Earn 1,000 Bonus Points with two-night or longer stays as an added incentive.

Hilton Facebook promotion special for up to 10,000 bonus points:

** Earn 2,500 bonus points per booking made between Tuesday, January 17 12:00pm (noon) Eastern Time Zone through Wednesday January 18, 11:59am ET for the Hilton Any Weekend, Anywhere Sale. This bonus may be earned four times, up to 10,000 bonus points with four bookings. The 2,500 bonus points Facebook offer is valid for one night stays.

How do I claim my 2,500 Hilton HHonors Bonus Points?

After you have booked your Any Weekend, Anywhere Sale stay, you will need to re-visit the 24-Hour Bonus Event tab on the Hilton HHonors Facebook page during the Bonus Event period (12:00pm ET on January 17, 2012 to 11:59am ET on January 18, 2012) and enter in your confirmation number and your Hilton HHonors number in order to claim the 2,500 Hilton HHonors Bonus Points. The Hilton HHonors Bonus Points will be posted in your Hilton HHonors account 4 to 6 weeks after your stay has been completed.

Bottom Line: While I typically suggest avoiding prepaid, nonrefundable room rates, the multiple promotion offers combined with the 2012 Q-1 More Points promotion make this one sale worth considering.

Four $100 one-night stays can potentially earn 10,000 bonus points through the Facebook offer and 4,000 bonus points from the 2012 Q-1 More Points promotion if these one-night stays are completed by March 31. Four nights can earn 14,000 bonus points in addition to the regular points for hotel spend.

One two-night stay booked January 17-18 during 24-hour Facebook special can potentially earn:

  • 2,500 bonus points Facebook (1 stay)
  • 1,000 bonus points Any Weekend, Anywhere Sale for two night weekend stay.
  • 7,000 bonus points 2012 Q-1 More Points promotion for two-night weekend stay January 1-March 31, 2012.
  • Total promotion bonus = 10,500 bonus points per two-night stay.
  • Up to 42,000 bonus points after four two-night stays by March 31.
  • It remains to be seen whether all these promotion bonuses will combine. These offers look to me like they will combine.
  • Check 2012 Q-1 More Points excluded hotels list to see if hotel is eligible.

I read the terms and conditions under Mommy Points (who even said that she tweeted Hilton to get a clarification if you can combine with More Points Promotion), as it states in terms and conditions that it cannot be combined with other promotions.
. ****************wording from terms and conditions************* Offer not valid with group bookings and cannot be combined with other offers.

Sales usually mean the discount rate cannot be combined with other discount rate offers. That typically does not apply to promotion bonuses and I do not think the Facebook offer will negate the Q-1 promotion offer.

Ric – I haven’t combed through the above to see if you need your double dip earnings style set to “Points & Points”, but if you can stack the above offers and have your earnings set to “Points & Miles”, there are some mileage offers out there from American, Delta, Hawaiian and USAir. The list of participating properties though is pretty small. HT to RAPC on FT for this.

@Chris L. – thanks for the link. I just saw a post on the miles bonuses today on FlyerTalk without a link.

Double miles for AAdvantage of Aeroplan through March 31.

    Triple miles with US Airways.

2,012 miles for two-night stays with Delta.

All the calculations I did here are just bonus points so the numbers on this post can be combined with miles bonuses for HHonors Points & Miles earners.

With the amount of Hilton Honors required to redeem a one night reward, these multiple bonuses even if combined, would not get you a 6 hr stay in the lobby of a Hilton hotel. HHonors has become one of the worst programs in the world, I am not sure how they are even managing to stay in business and not losing cutomers to SPG or Priority Club.

  • BostonFlyer January 13, 2012

    Ric,

Do these rates get charged on the credit card right away of are they not charged until hotel arrival?

  • Ric Garrido January 13, 2012

@Jack – By what measure are you comparing HHonors, SPG and Priority Club?

Waldorf Astoria 60,000 points reward night = $3,000 in hotel spend without promotions for HHonors Diamond Points & Points earner to redeem free night.

InterContinental 50,000 points night = $3,333 in hotel spend without promotions for Priority Club Platinum to earn a free night.

St. Regis 20,000 points night hotel = $6,667 in hotel spend for SPG Gold to earn a free night.
