Hotel Loyalty 2012-Q2 promotions Hyatt Gold Passport Hyatt Hotels

Buy Hyatt Points May 9 at $10.11 per 1,000

U.S. Travel Association Daily Getaways sponsored by American Express offers Hyatt Gold Passport points at 12:00 noon eastern time (pre-sale) and 1:00 pm regular sale.

There are severely limited quantities of Hyatt points in three of the four sales for various amounts of points from 24,000 to 69,000 point sets. You can buy a maximum of one set of points from each sale for a total four sets of points for a potential 159,000 Hyatt Gold passport points.

This is one of the best values of the five weeks of Daily Getaways sales. Last year these points were basically gone in seconds.  You can be pretty assured to find a large number of Hyatt Hotels where you can potentially save $20 in hotel rate for every 1,000 points you buy here for $10.

Analysis

The first offer for 24,000 points has the most available items and is the lowest price per 1,000 points. This is also the only offer with a presale opportunity. Like Facebook Hyatt and check it about an hour before the sale to get the access code for noon presale.

A good strategy is to buy the presale 24,000 points and then you can focus on buying a higher amount of points in primary sale.

Good Luck.

Hey readers. I will be in a place this morning where they block Facebook access.

Would someone please post the Hyatt presale access code from Facebook in the comments here?

I want to give this presale a try today and while I won’t be able to access Facebook, I will be able to see my blog comments and access the Daily Getaways sale.

    15 sets available for pre-sale. 15?

With many thousands of people vying for them. I was going to post the odds of getting one, but my computer ran out of zeros….

Wonder what’s more productive… clicking reload for this sale or filling out some emiles/erewards surveys 😉

  • Ric Garrido May 9, 2012

I was unsuccessful in the presale. Next chance in 10 minutes.

So few packages! Must have sold out at 1:00:01 !

  • Terry May 9, 2012

Deal was gone in less than 1 second. Harrumph.

Didn’t make it in — Blah, blah, and blah! But, there are still Best Western packages available, and they are a good value in Europe, where Hyatt has a pretty scanty presence. Think I’ll mosey on over and grab a few more, maybe.

  • […] year there were about 165 sets of Hyatt points sold during one day of Daily Getaways at prices as low as $10 per 1,000 points. This was one of the toughest deals to purchase as the sets of points were sold in […]
