Here is the FlyerTalk post from William Sanders, Starwood Social Media Specialist:

Seems this community saw a sneak peak of a coming soon program. Yes, SPG Hot Escapes will be revealed soon and will combine our other programs like Starpicks & Beat the Timer. Some of the comments discuss that there are errors in the advertised % discounts, eligibility for BRG rates – please be advised we are working on making modifications and the final product will be revealed shortly. Please keep your eyes open for our upcoming official announcement which we will post here when the site is up and ready.

  1. Hot escapes launched this week. I was on the website Wednesday night looking at hotels and rates. you can also already search the rates on compare rates on the SPG website.

  2. Thanks MJM – William’s comment on FlyerTalk indicates the site preview this week was not a launch.

A website would help in locating properties.

True that SPG Hot Escapes rates are currently available through Starwood Hotels regular booking site.

I am adding more to this post to show SPG Hot Escapes example.

  3. Did they take the Hot Escapes website down? It was not as quick to locate properties as the Starpicks website since it was not alphabetized by country, state, city. I hope they fix that for their official launch.

  4. But the new site isn’t actually working yet right?

  5. Apparently there was a short time where the HotEscapes site was up. I did not see it.

Starwood will announce when the new SPG Hot Escapes site is up and running.
