In October I am travelling from London to Dublin. I usually get offered a low cost upgrade when undertaking a booking within Europe for BA – £59-£89 are fairly typical. This booking never offered that option so today I checked to see whether BA had an offer for me yet.
Well they do, and that offer appears to be ‘Get Lost you cheapskate’. BA wanted £3798 for my trip!
Having checked that I didn’t win the lottery, I am pleased to report that I declined this offer.
That is unbelievable!
I think I would get a private jet rather than plump for the cost of that upgrade.
Tommy777 got a similar sum on a ticket recently.
Indeed I did, but it was not as cheap as Mark’s mine was over £5500 LHR-CPH.
Something is broken. I love these upgrades so I hope they fix it asap
