Well, I’m all trained up with my day job for a year. What a week. Work all day and night, but did make it to a baseball game on Monday night. Yay! The bad thing about the first full week in August is that I always know where I will be. The good thing could be that knowing that, I should be prepared with some “Best of” content to fill in the blanks while I’m basically “away” for a week. Noted for next year. Let’s take a look at a few random things that caught my eye in the last couple of days.

DeltaPoints advises us that Delta has “enhanced” it’s systemwide upgrade certificates as of July 22, 2013.

Does anyone else love Frequently Flying’s vintage airline seat maps as much as me? The Weekly Flyer is flying a vintage DC-9 soon, and his post led me to poke through other vintage airline seat maps at Frequently Flying. My favorite – the Piedmont Airlines 767-200ER. Why? Well, Piedmont was the best airline ever, for one. And two, my first flight in first class was onboard a Piedmont 767-200ER. My mild obsession with miles and points started with the Piedmont Airlines Frequent Flyer Bonus Program.
