Hyatt has a new game/giveaway out called “Chase the Possibilities”, and the prizes are pretty cool! The rules say it is a “closed promotion that is open to select Hyatt Gold Passport members in good standing”. I received an email for my account, but was also able to play with my husband’s account by going to this site and entering his number. The language is clear it is not open to everyone, so please don’t get too miffed if your account doesn’t work for some reason. Hopefully it is pretty widely targeted though!
To play the game you have to make decisions (like choose your own adventure books) and you will either retain or lose the three trunks with prize options in the process. There does seem to be some method to the madness, and I had the best success in keeping all three trunks when I made the selections of Paris, Honk Kong, Spa, Las Vegas, and Chicago, in that order.
Here are the potential prize options and the total number of that prize available:
One (1) Night at Any Hyatt Property (8)
5,000 points (16)
250 points (50,000)
100 points (115,000)
Suite upgrade (24)
Platinum Status through Feb 2015 (48)
Diamond Status through Feb 2015 (24)
10% off daily rate
15% off daily rate
I would love to win Diamond status through Feb 2015 as I am lagging on re-qualifying, but so far I have only come across prizes like 15% off and 250 points. Cool to think that someone will win such an awesome prize though! Tip: don’t actually pick a prize in the trunk if you want to try again – it seems to allow this.
I think this is a cool way to promote their Endless Possibilities bonus points promotion that I describe here. I like their creativity, and hope some of you win some pretty great prizes. Did you play? If so, what prize options did you receive?
