The CARES FAA Approved Harness can be super handy when you want your toddler or pre-school aged child to be secure in their airplane seat, but don’t want to bring a car seat on-board the plane.  I have written about it a few times before, and think that it can be very useful for some traveling families.  A reader (thanks Mike!) alerted me that the CARES Harness is currently a “Lightning Deal” on Amazon for the next hour or so.  This means it is available at a discount for only $49.95.  They advertize this as 33% off, and I would guess that is about right based on the prices I have seen these normally sell for.

Once you get to the item on Amazon, click on the Lightning Deal option in the upper right hand corner to reveal the lower price!

CARES HarnessIt will ship free if you have Amazon Prime and you can earn 5x Ultimate Reward points if you use your registered Chase Freedom Visa, or if you are still working on your American Express promo that awards $25 off $75 or more in Amazon purchases this month (must have already registered for that) then be sure to use that card.

Just don’t delay if this has been on your shopping list – the deal ends at 7PM Eastern, or when the max number is claimed.  Always great to get a good deal on a quality family travel gadget!

  3. Wish I saw your post earlier. Only 13% claimed but the deal is over. We sure could use one of these next month when Lucas turns 2!

Michael, wish it lasted longer. Great deal for it!
