Hilton has a new iPhone app, and in order to promote it they’re offering 1,000 HHonors points for bookings made through it until December 31, 2013. The stays can be anytime through December 31, 2014, and bonus points will post 6-8 weeks after the eligible stay occurs. Unlike most of their promotions, there are no excluded properties for the promotion.

    Thanks for pointing this out.

I value this at $6 per reservation. If Hyatt or Starwood was giving 1,000 points for use of their mobile app I’d be excited. I have such a negative view of Hilton lately….

I think $4 per 1000 points for hilton is a little generous; I think it used to be more but now you cannot find anything worthwhile for less than 70000 points IMHO

I wish SPG app promo was still in effect — it gave out 500 points for each booking.
