Just a quick reminder that this week only, US Airways is running a 100% bonus on shared miles. The offer expires today, December 6, at 11:59PM PT. This is essentially an opportunity to generate US Airways miles for ~1.1 cents each, assuming you have an existing mileage balance. In my opinion it’s hands down the most lucrative bonus in the industry for generating miles.

I’ve taken advantage of this promotion several times over the past couple of days, and highly recommend others do as well. Check out my previous post for all the details, and let me know if you have any questions!

    Hi Lucky,

do you happen to have an idea why there is almost no availability in F on UA on any TATL routes any more? I keep checking for September to go from OGG – SFO – FRA or LHR – TXL, but it is always zero :-(

    Grüße aus Berlin!

@ Lantean — Hah, in fairness they’ve been selling miles to us at cheap rates for a long time, not just this week. :D

@ Stefan — They’ve been constantly reducing the amount of availability they release, seems to be an overall pattern unfortunately.

Is this promotion limited to a maximum of 50k bonus per usairways account? Or can I send to my wife 50k twice to get 100k total bonus?

    lucky said,

@ David — Correct, maximum of 50K bonus miles pre-bonus INTO a single account.

I used my AA Visa to do the share. Figure I’m getting AA points either way. ;)
