There are those moments which call for the perfect cocktail. And then there are early morning moments that call for making your own cocktail. For our early morning moment in Moorea it was the Tahitian Pineapple Sunrise. During our Trip to French Polynesia we stayed at the Hilton Moorea, on a reward stay of course. When we checked in we took advantage of the great deal for 4 Corona’s for the equivalent of $24 USD. After one day we found a near by store to pick up adult beverages for our entire 6 night stay at a cost of about $125 USD.

How To Make A Pineapple Sunrise

  • Generous Portion of Avatea Light Tahitian Rum
  • Rotui Tahitian Pineapple Juice
  • Splash Of Club Soda
  • Splash Of Orange Juice
  • Very Cold Ice
  • Fresh Squeezed Tangerine

Setting

Each day we were torn between laying out on our over the water bungalow deck, or going snorkeling off our over the water bungalow deck. It was just the right recipe between doing less, reconnecting with each other and relaxing. Every once in a while we’d see an interesting sea creature swim by to try to sneak a view of our drink.
