Citi has a existing offer for the Platinum Select MasterCard where you can earn 30,000 American Airlines miles per card. Signing up for this card, and meeting the spending requirements, is a great way to earn miles that can be used for one way tickets. I have a good friend who is looking for ways to get to Europe for his honeymoon and currently has a mileage balance of 0. The AA credit card 30k sign up bonus is an easy way for him to rack up 30,000 American Airlines miles by applying for the card. You may find value in one of these offers too.

Comments

  1. As I blogged earlier in the day, there’s a better offer running through January 31 which throws in 2 lounge passes and also a $150 statement credit after your first purchase from American AIrlines with the card.

  2. Just took advantage of the offer you listed and followed your link to help you out with the site. Thanks for all the info!

  3. 3 quick Q’s …
1 – Any word on whether this link will still work after the stated 1/31 expiration (as most Citi AA links have in the past)?
2 – Any word on whether Citi/AA will run this promo again right after it ends? (I think they had the same offer through 10/31/11, and then ran it again, so I’m wondering if they’ll do that again.)
3 – After being approved, how soon will I receive the admirals club passes?
    Thanks!
