Delta is adding 100 new flights and 29 destinations out of their LGA hub. To celebrate the additional flights they are offering a $25 merchandise gift card and double Sky Bonus points on select routes.

How To Earn

  • Select your gift choice now from Amazon, iTunes or Starbucks gift cards
  • Register by April 25th (This promotion is targeted but is worth a try to see if you are able to register)
  • Book and fly by July 10, 2012
  • Eligible routes include flights from LGA to:
    • Buffalo (BUF)
    • Burlington (BTV)
    • Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW)
    • Greensboro (GS0)
    • Louisville (SDF)
    • Manchester (MHT)
    • Miami (MIA)

In addition to more flights and new destinations, Delta’s expansion in New York (LGA) includes:

Double Delta Sky Bonus Points On 100 New Flights

To celebrate the additional flights out of LGA Delta SkyBonus members can earn double points on select routes. SkyBonus members can earn double points on several New York LaGuardia flights when Delta launches its new domestic hub at New York’s LaGuardia airport. Non-stop travel between the following cities and New York LaGuardia is eligible for double points:

  • Albany, NY (ALB)
  • Burlington, VT (BTV)
  • Buffalo, NY (BUF)
  • Washington-Dulles (IAD)
  • Manchester, NH (MHT)
  • Rochester, NY (ROC)

Bottom Line

Delta is building a better presence in the NY market, which is good, but the free $25 gift cards and double Sky Bonus points are better. SkyBonus points can add up fast. The easiest redemption option is to redeem 10,000 points for 10 drink certificates.
