Best Car Rental Accident Credit Card & Gogo Winners - Points Miles and Martinis

Last week was a bad week for this guy and a good week for the winners of the Gogo wifi cards below. Just as this guy was leaving the Avis lot, the lower barrier raised up and he smashed his car into it. It was ironic, because the upper bar gate raised at the same time. So I could see how it wasn’t his fault.

So we asked our readers to share their thoughts on the best credit card to use when you rent a car. The responses were varied and it is good to see that a number of credit cards offer rental car protection. You can see what others are suggesting by going to the comments of the post here.

Gogo Wifi Car Winners

We selected three lucky winners from the comments and are awarding a free Gogo wifi in-flight internet card.

I got a call from American Express and enrolled all my AMEX cards in premium car coverage for $17.95 per rental. Do certain Amex cards have this offer standard?

  • Pat said,

The winners are a card that offers protection for an extra fee and card that is no longer available. Perhaps a little more judging rigor was needed.

  • Aleks said,

Hi, I haven’t received an email from you yet. Can you please try again? I’m traveling soon and would love to use the pass.

    Thanks.
