In the center of terminal B in the World’s Busiest International Airport, is a quiet cafe called Cafe Intermezzo. It’s a great choice for a quiet lunch or coffee. The cafe has a small book store, offers free wifi and has a nice little menu.
Cafe Intermezzo Location
You’ll find Cafe Intermezzo in the center of Atlanta International Airport’s terminal B. When you get off the plane train, head up the escalators and it is located at the top.
Lunch
One afternoon I had a few hours to burn before my next flight, so I grabbed a table near the center of the restaurant.
The best views are from the tables up against the window. But I enjoyed our table just as much. It’s definitely a place where you can sit back and relax and enjoy a meal.
I decided to start with a bowl of the gumbo. It was warm, tasty and had a little kick to it. Just what I was looking for to spice up a dull afternoon before a flight.
For the main course, I went with a Cuban sandwich on toasted bread. It came with coleslaw and a crisp pickle.
Bottom Line
If you are looking for a nice lunch spot or a quiet corner in the Atlanta airport, consider a table at Cafe Intermezzo’s in terminal B.
