The British Airways Concorde Room (CR) is described as elegant and calm. This is arguably one of the best lounges in the world that can be accessed on an award ticket. You’ll be able to relax in a spa, private cabana, or dine at your private table.

Concorde Room is elegant, calm and welcoming. A place for both serious relaxation and serious business, the soothingly understated opulence and calm of the Concorde Room provides a genuinely exclusive environment for First passengers.

The Concorde Room is definitely one of the more coveted airport lounges and ranks among the best in the world including Cathay Pacific’s “The Wing”

Bottom Line

I called a week in advance and was able to secure a private cabana for my desired time and a 15 minute spa treatment. If you are flying a British Airways International First Class flight consider making a stop in the Concorde Room.

Some people like Gary from View From The Wing had a mediocre visit and others like Lucky from One Mile At A Time who thought it was a bloody disaster to visit to the lounge.

I’ll be sure and share a full report and my unsolicited thoughts from the experience.

Comments

  1. Timely, we are booked for 15 min spa treatments in 2 weeks. It will be our first visit there.

  2. There is also a bag check just inside the CR (nearer the club access as opposed to the access by security) which is helpful to stash a rollaway, coat etc., if moving about to Elemis (which is outside the CR) or sitting for a meal.

  3. Nice post. 🙂

It looks like you may have confused the Arrivals Lounge with the Concorde Room. The Concorde Room is actually after you pass through South Security in T5, you’ll turn right and see an unobtrusive door that takes you direct into the Concorde Room.

“Where Is The Concorde Room Located?

On arrival at Terminal 5, the Galleries Arrivals Lounge is located on Arrivals Level after clearing Customs. Follow the signs for ‘Arrivals Lounge’”

  4. We prefer the Terrace’s adjacent business lounge for food, as you can see your choices at the food bar and take just the portion size you want, with no waiting or tipping.
