How To Check Your Delta Promotions – Surprised What You Might Find

Every now and then you’ll receive a promotion that is too good to be true, like the 1,000 bonus mile for every segment offer I received last year from Delta. That was an unreal offer, but not everyone is targeted for these special offers. So how do you check what offers you are eligible for? And what if you’ve already registered for a promotion, but can’t find out how to track your progress? There are Delta website links that will help with both of these questions.

How Do You Check What Offers You Are Eligible For?

Delta members can check their eligible promotions by going to this site and logging into their account. You may be surprised by what you find.

Delta Website Eligible Promotion Signup

Simply select the promotional offer and enter your information to register for the promotion. But be careful because some of the promotions aren’t exactly just promotional offers, the one in the picture above is a promotional package for sale which includes the following for a low low price of $199.

This promotion doesn’t make sense for the Weekly Flyer’s for several reasons.

First, we already get free checked bags with the Delta Reserve card, the Platinum Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card from American Express (or the Gold Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card from American Express). The cards offer up to 9 checked baggage fees waived if all passengers are booked on the same reservation. That is quite the savings if you usually have to pay for checked bags.

Second, we already get priority boarding thanks to my earning Delta Platinum status the easy way. With Platinum status, I get award redeposit fees waived, priority seating (including economy comfort for the family), and priority boarding among other benefits.

FIRST BAG FREE:
Everyone in your group gets one free checked bag (up to $225 value per flight).

PRIORITY BOARDING:
Your whole group—and their stuff—gets on and gets settled sooner with Priority Boarding.

PREFERRED SEATS:
For no extra charge, choose from seats with more legroom, like bulkhead and exit rows, or pick an aisle or window seat towards the front of the plane. Just reserve your preferred seat at booking.

ECONOMY COMFORT ™
Or, upgrade to domestic Economy Comfort for 50% less (or, upgrade within 24 hours of your flight for free) and guarantee extra legroom and quicker deplaning. You’ll also get 25% off international Economy Comfort, which also includes free beer, wine, cocktails and more seat recline on most flights.

BONUS MILES:
As the purchaser, you’ll receive a 20% mileage bonus on top of the other miles you receive for this flight, getting you closer to your next Award Ticket.

But still, the ability to check on promotions online is a nice to have and you may just be surprised what you find when you check your eligible promotional offers. Can’t hurt to check, right?

How To Track Your Delta Promotion Progress?

Delta members can check the status of the promotions they’ve registered for by going to this site after logging into their Delta accounts. The site will show which promotions you’ve registered for, the registration date, start and end dates as well as your progress towards the promotion. And yes, I earned a ton of bonus miles from that “unlimited” promotion shown in the picture below 🙂

Delta Promotion Registration

Bottom Line

Make sure you sign up for every promotion you are eligible to receive bonus miles so that you’ll never miss an opportunity to earn bonus points. It’s easy to track your progress towards Delta promotions through Delta’s tracking progress site.

The 1,000 bonus miles per segment was one of the best airline promotional offers I’ve ever received. I racked up so many miles through this promotion it made me think Delta must have accidentally sent the promotion to me or didn’t look at my flying history. Either way I was very happy with that promotion 🙂

What’s the best airline promotional offer you’ve ever registered for? Were you able to max it out?
