For tonight’s Happy Hour we are at the Wingtips Lounge at JFK, watching the sunset and the PM departures to Europe. Many recall this lounge as the Oasis Lounge at Terminal 4, however it was recently rebranded.
The lounge itself is now inside of security, but if you’re flying Delta or Virgin America or any airline departing from this terminal, and have the Priority Pass (Select) which all Platinum Card from American Express cardholders get, then you are allowed access. Best benefit of the lounge is it’s a self serve bar. Yay for the free pour!
So for tonights happy hour, we are drinking a rum-and-Coke (a single) and a Jack-and-Coke (a double).
Till next time …

One of my favorite bars is the bar downstairs at the Andaz 5th Ave. For tonight’s Happy Hour we are headed to their bar downstairs, which is located in the basement and is one of NYC’s hidden spots. As a business hotel, this bar is actually a lot busier during the weeknights than on the… continue reading

I’ve mentioned Delta’s “Have One On Us” (HOOU) program in the past. This is the program that rewards Medallion members with free drinks when they check-in online to print a boarding pass. By now everyone has heard about Delta’s latest enhancement, the increase in award prices across the board for Business Elite.
