Last October I was lucky enough to get a tour of the mostly renovated TWA Flight Center at JFK. Now you can, too
Jaunted has picked up from the folks at Open House New York, the group which organized it last year, that they have arranged to have the terminal open again this year during their event. On Sunday, October 7th the site will once again be open to the public. Anyone in the area with any connection to aviation or architectural history should visit. It really is cool.
Alas, I’ll be in Istanbul during this year’s open house. I’ll be living vicariously through everyone else who actually gets to visit. I hope you all enjoy it!

Grrr…I arrive in NYC on 10/11…
Boy do I want to see(photograph) this building. Were they fussy about cameras and tripods last year?
Darn. I’m doing a mileage run that weekend so wont be able to do it. I have very fond memories of both TWA and that terminal.
This looks tempting…
