Award seats on Korean Air have, over time, alternated between easy and hard to find online. Looks like we’re back to easy. Despite plenty of challenges associated with their website and award searches it seems that Delta has managed to integrate Korean Air into their systems. And there is a lot of inventory available. The Delta site shows both economy and business class award space; Delta SkyMiles cannot be used for first class awards.
Do be careful as the site will show you coach seats when doing a search for business class awards. There is a warning on the page but it wouldn’t be too hard to get confused. Plus, the warning seems to show up even when the seats are in the cabin requested. KE.X is coach and KE.O is business. I got this searching for a business award:
My last (and only) trip on Korean wasn’t one I remember all that fondly. Actually, the trip was great but the flights were not all that. Still, they seem to have decent award availability and more options are always better than fewer. Overall this is definitely a win.

I thought DL imposed YQ on KE redemptions?
I have to take what I can get and not think of nwa.com days when all these Asian partners were bookable online.
I have flown Korean Air several times in business and coach, haven’t flown many of the other premium Asian carriers so can’t really compare. Korean Air is very formal and stiff, not the type to lavish attention, but coach especially is very pleasant, frequent rounds of fruit and guava juice. For business the meals and even the blankets are skimpy and the seats not designed for people 6 ft or taller. The mid-flight fresh baked cookies are good. The uniforms, for the ladies, are the best in the sky. The serious men wearing the same colors look a bit forlorn.
