Aviation History – Smithsonian Udvar-Hazy Air & Space Museum

The Smithsonian’s Udvar-Hazy Air Space Museum, located right at the end of the runways of Washington’s Dulles (IAD) airport, is a virtual paradise for Aviation and Space travel enthusiasts. It has history all over the museum, which is appropriately shaped like a large hangar. Aircraft there range from the Enola Gay, an Air France Concorde, a PanAm Clipper and of course, the Space Shuttle Enterprise. I had the opportunity to take some pictures there last week. Here are a few.

All pictures were taken with a Sony NEX-3 DSLR with a 18-55mm Carl Zeiss lens.
