2000 Free Points for Jet Airways Frequent Flyer Signup

Via Live from a Lounge, Jet Airways JetPrivilege new signups using a promo link receive a 2000 point enrollment bonus.

The Indian carrier isn’t part of an alliance (though with Star walking away from Air India and Kingfisher going to oneworld, no doubt they’re in talks). They do, however, partner with about two dozen airlines including Delta, American, and United.

  1. From what I can see on the site, it costs only Rs.800 to transfer 2000 miles to another account (about $15), which you can do twice per year. Domestic redemptions start at 4000. That means you can get a flight for as low as $15.

    Thanks, this may come in handy for my summer trip to the motherland.

    Not a bad idea, except that most of the 4k redemptions are so short that I’d almost never consider flying on those sectors.

  3. ORD_TGU – I just signed up (the 2K points were credited immediately) but there is no way that I could see to trade or exchange on points.com (although I did see someone post a request to trade them on the “earn opportunities” scroll on the account home page).
