This deal applies to Air Berlin’s flights from New York, Chicago, Miami and Fort Myers to Berlin and Dusseldorf, purchase by December 1 for travel between January 1 and March 31. And you can add on Air Berlin flights quite reasonably to the rest of Europe.

Be sure to purchase from Air Berlin using a credit card with no foreign currency transaction fees.

While Air Berlin is a member of oneworld, American AAdvantage members will take note that their discount fares only earn 25% of flown mileage.

And with this deal two passengers do have to traevl together.
