If you’ve been targeted for this offer it’s likely that you’ll find it targeted to a number of your American Express cards, so it’s going to be important that you load the offer to the card that will earn you the most points (or cash back) for your spending.

Bottom Line

This is the best Gelson’s Amex offer that we see and this is the second time in 6 months that it has appeared (historically, we were used to seeing a “spend $50 get $10 back up to 2x” offer) but don’t go crazy buying items you wouldn’t have bought had you not been targeted for this offer – that’s a great way to waste money.

Think things through and make sure you load the offer to the Amex Card from which you’ll derive the greatest earnings/benefit before you walk into your nearest Gelsons Market.

Overall, if you live in SoCal and are a Gelson’s customer, this is an offer you should be looking out for as it provides an incredibly easy way to save up to $45 on shopping that you probably would be doing anyway.
