Quick thoughts

I can’t tell if all of Hyatt’s properties in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa are participating in this sale, but with 153 locations showing on the promotion page, I’d guess that only a handful (if any) have opted out.

Also, I don’t think that you need to use the “STAYNOW” promo code to trigger the savings on offer as after over a dozen searches, I haven’t seen any differences between the rates that I’m offered when I use the code and when I omit it – the “book now & save 15%”, “book now and save 10%” or “book now and save 20%” options always seems to appear if the property is offering rooms in the promotion on my chosen date.

Overall and even though we’re not being offered 20% off the cheapest rates published, there are properties out there at which this discount will be useful, but be careful when comparing rates as I’m seeing a lot of discounted deals that require full payment upfront and that do not offer any kind of free cancellation.

Anyone who has access to the Hyatt Leverage program should make sure that they check the discount that the program is offering them before jumping on any other promotional rate because not only may the Hyatt Leverage rate be better, but it will probably offer more flexible booking terms.

Bottom line

For bookings made through 6 June, Hyatt is offering up to 20% off stays in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa as long as they’re made by 4 January 2025. At some properties, this deal will unlock a good rate that beats all the others, but with numerous Hyatt properties offering other deals as well and with Hyatt Leverage offering another good option, it’s important to check out all the rates being offered (and their terms) before committing to any one particular deal.
