Oldtimers at LiveFromALounge will remember Accor Plus, the dining/subscription programme Accor Hotels offers in Asia Pacific. Using Accor Plus, you can get dining benefits at about 1000 hotels in 20 countries around the Asia Pacific region. This programme is offered on a paid basis and is separate from the ALL programme, which is Accor’s loyalty programme.
I had written about how Accor Plus was enhanced earlier on. In the same post, I’d also covered another promotion ongoing with Accor. However, I wanted to write a separate post about it now.
Redeem ALL points for Accor Plus Membership.
In case you are keen on getting an Accor Plus Membership but want to avoid paying for it, Accor is running a special promotion these days where you can redeem ALL points on Accor Plus’ website to get the membership free of cost.
This might be a good use case with points floating around like water (thank you, EDGE Rewards and HDFC Bank Reward Points). The conversion of points to the Accor Plus membership is being offered till March 9, 2024.
Accor, with the Traveller Membership, is granting a discount on the membership price; given the 4499 Accor ALL points will work out to INR 8,000, and the cash price is INR 8,260.
On the other hand, if you redeem the Explorer membership, you also get the free room night, which you will be better off redeeming your points on or paying in cash if needed if you want to make a redemption.
You are better off redeeming the Traveller Membership, unlocking access to Accor Plus and the Red Hot Rooms, and using the residual points to redeem for a room across the globe rather than just in the Asia Pacific region (along with the reduced stress of finding an available Accor Plus room).
Bottomline
Through March 9, 2024, you can redeem ALL points for an Accor Plus membership. The membership is being offered for just 4499 ALL points without a complimentary room night. Still, it will get you access to discounts at all ACCOR hotels in India and any other participating hotel in the Asia Pacific Region. The promotion is valid till March 9, 2024.

Accor plus membership entitles you to a 10% discount. So i went ahead and bought one.
but while booking i found that rates are same for accor plus members(paid membership? and non paid people who just sign up and aquire a member id..
I confirmed by signing my wife up and found the rates of the rooms exactly to be the same..
Am i missing something here?
