However, Singapore Airlines is now celebrating the fact that they’ve reached 10 million Krisflyer members worldwide. In order to celebrate that achievement, they’re offering an even better deal this time around. With this Spontaneous Escapes deal, you can earn 40% off on certain award tickets.
Singapore Airlines: 40% off on select routes
As per the terms and conditions of this promotion, you need to book by March 31, 2025 and travel between April 1 and April 30, 2025.

Seat availability is on a first-come, first-served basis, and flights can only be redeemed online via singaporeair.com or the SingaporeAir mobile app. Terms and conditions and blackout dates apply.
Here are a few important points to remember:
- You must book by March 31, 2025. If you’re looking to transfer points to Singapore Airlines, then it’s better to do it earlier rather than later
- You can travel during the month of April, all dates inclusive. However, there are blackout dates on certain dates for certain routes
- In order to book, you need to follow the same process that you usually follow while booking an award ticket on singaporeair.com. The discounted award prices will show automatically.
- You do not have a waitlist option for award tickets booked with this promotion
- No stopovers are allowed as part of this promotion
- Once you book a ticket using this promo, you will not receive any refunds if you cancel your tickets.
Any change is strictly not permitted for bookings made under this promotion. Cancellation is also not permitted for partially unused or totally unused tickets.
The Pundit’s Mantra
Just last year, I leveraged this promo twice to fly between Singapore and Mumbai on the big Airbus 380 in business class. Since the promotion was for a 30% off, I had to pay 30,100 miles instead of the usual 43,000 miles to fly from Singapore to Mumbai in Business class. If you leverage this promo, then you’ll pay just 25,800 miles for that flight, which is close to 5.5 hours in duration.
