Through May 31, spafinder.com is offering 40 Delta SkyMiles per dollar spent on gift certificates purchased. I value Delta miles somewhere between 1.0 and 1.5 cents each, so at that rate, we’re looking at a 40-60% discount on a spa treatment. Furthermore, it seems that if you use the code “ACCESS” you can get a further 10% discount.

Now, I might actually take advantage of this if the spa of a hotel I was staying at soon was on the list, though I don’t see any. Still, this is basically an offer for half priced massages. Not quite as cheap as the ones I get in Thailand, but still not half bad.

This offer is also good for AA, although that option doesn’t appear until you get to checkout.

If it’s 40 AA miles per dollar, this is a killer deal. If it’s only for 40 DL miles per dollar, it’s only great if you already intend to use one of the spas.

As far as I know, American only offers three miles per dollar. Would love to be proven wrong, though!

Thanks for the “heads-up”. Wife and daughter use a local spa quite often, and I usually only get a bill at the end of the month! This time, lot of points also!!

The 40 miles is *not* valid for AA. I outlined all of the possible ways to leverage this deal, including a 12% coupon code to use, in my post on FT, here: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/16371266-post30.html
