A bit about me:Until the end of 2003 I was the Travel Analyst with Jupiter Research, where I was lucky enough to spend all day talking about the airline industry with clients and press. After three years of being quoted in the Wall Street Journal, on CNBC, during NPR’s Marketplace and in the Clarksville (TN) Leaf-Journal, among other media, I’ve moved out of the Jupiter offices and on to a bunch of other stuff that isn’t quite as fun.
I’m a slave to Continental’s OnePass, I will complain frequently about the 737 being used on transcon flights, and I’m obsessed with Icelandair. Drop me an email (above) to discuss…

hi,
just read some of the bits on strange airline travel stories. keep up the good work. you turn a good phrases too. i’d suggest hitting up a publisher to do a fun book on some of the stories you’ve collected.

Dropped you a mail several years ago to tell you I really really liked your site. It is bookmarked between ATW anf flight, so you see I have high respect of your comments over the industry. Dropped by to see if you had paid a tribute to Aloha Airlines.
It’s really really sad to see the airline drop their passenger service. Before moving to the mainland, Aloha was part of my life. There are many regulars who commute to work by airplane in the islands and it’s like the passing of a family member.
Hope you can say a few departing words…. thx.
Oh, and Continental flying into Heathrow… that’s got to stir your juices…
