Lounge Review: Lufthansa Lounge Boston (BOS)
A surprising experience!
When: December 22, 2023
Rating: 7.5/10 – Excellent
Access: Star Alliance Gold Status
Time for a review from Boston. This lounge tucked in a remote spot in Terminal E and open in the afternoons and evenings offers a stylish place to chill out before your flight. Be prepared for a long walk for passengers other than those departing from Terminal E. The lounge has an upscale décor and very excellent buffet.

The lounge is on level 4 of Terminal E. After taking an elevator up to level 4, the lounge is to the right, with the British Airways and Emirates Lounge to the left. After presenting your credentials, you are welcomed into the lounge which is to the right of the desk. The lounge is one room but several attractive dividers which break up the space. There is huge variety of seating, good for relaxing, eating and working. There is a staffed bar and a HUGE buffet of hot and cold items (which includes soft pretzels!)
Toward the back of the lounge there is restaurant style seating and a la carte ordering for First Class and HON customers of Lufthansa and Swiss. The lounge also sports lounge style chair, with great views of the tarmac. This lounge is decidedly upscale and the lack of showers is odd.
The best thing about this lounge by far is the food. The buffet is outstanding, and if you get there early…you can gorge yourself! The lounge does not fill up till the evening before the Lufthansa and Swiss flights depart for Europe. I found the staff to be hardworking, with employees quickly cleaning/taking used plates and a friendly bartender.

I rate this lounge 7.5/10. Best features: The food and décor. Flaws: Location in Terminal E is not ideal for domestic flyers, lounge is only open later in the afternoon, no shower.
