Review: Delta Sky Club at Atlanta (ATL), Concourse F

by Adam Stuart | June 14, 2025 | 0 Comments

…One of the nicest Sky Clubs in Atlanta

Sporting a terrific outdoor deck, a lovely bar, great showers, and runway views. The Delta Sky Club in Concourse F at Atlanta Hartfield Jackson Int’l Airport is one the nicest in the airport – where there are 8 Sky Clubs.

The summary

The lounge is on the mezzanine level of Concourse F, which is easily the most attractive concourse at ATL and which mostly serves international flights. An agent will scan your boarding pass to confirm your access eligibility and admit you before actually entering the lounge. Upon entry, a customer service desk is right up front to assist passengers, and there is a small seating area to the left.

This lounge has 4 main seating areas. The largest is to the right. There are wine-colored sofas, semi-private rounded chairs, more typical lounge style seating with tables, chairs clustered in groups of 4 (perfect for larger parties), and even some semi-partitioned work cubicles.

The second largest seating area is far to the left (past the bar and buffet). It’s a long room highlighted by floor to ceiling windows, a long curved sofa, some chairs along the window, a popcorn machine, coffee urns, and an infused water station.

One of the highlights in the lounge is the third seating area – which is an outdoor deck. This lounge is open all year, given Atlanta’s mild climate. I have enjoyed this space on my last visit. However, due to a recent thunderstorm it was closed. There is a fourth seating area upstairs which naturally has great views. I especially like the sofa/table seating along the back wall upstairs.

Foodwise – you have the typical hearty fare found in most Sky Clubs: salad fixings, a zucchini and corn baguette, a turkey and cheese pretzel slider (YUM!!), hummus and dip, potato salad, rosemary and citrus chicken, roasted pork, and roasted summer vegetables. A slight knock for the disposable utensils and plates; it cheapens the buffet. The next morning they had waffles and scones (in addition to usual breakfast fare),

The bar is very stylish but was very busy (which limited pictures). There is a large variety of beer, wine and “classic” cocktails for no charge. There is a charge for more premium offerings and “signature” cocktails. The bar menu is identical to the menu in the small Newark lounge – so I used the pictures taken there. Kudos to Victoria – an amazing bartender. The soda fountain is right by the bar. There is a sofa/table seating area across from the bar.

The showers are at the far end of the second seating area – the long room beyond the bar. The shower are surprisingly luxurious and I loved the red tiled décor. These are actually some of the nicest showers I have seen in a lounge. The showers are stocked with Grown Alchemist products – which is a huge plus! Also – you can leave the lounge directly from the shower area – without having to walk back through the lounge. The washrooms have a similar design to the showers – red tiles.

Internet access is free (you can get the password upon entry) and worked well. Outlets are everywhere. This lounge can get busy before the bank of international departures, but even though I saw a line to get in, it moved quickly. The staff does an excellent job keeping the lounge tidy – someone was always roaming through the lounge and picking up finished dishes and utensils.

The wrap

…The details. Date – June 4, 2025. Rating: Excellent. Access: American Express Platinum Card, Flying Delta.

What I like: The bar, the buffet, the showers, the views

What I don’t like: Crowds – as I was leaving there was a wait to get it.
