‘Bliss Cruise Is The Best. Hottest People’: Woman Takes Royal Caribbean Cruise. Then She Spots Something Unsettling From Her Balcony

woman shares cruise she is staying at (l) cruise on the go (r)

A woman saw something that one could describe as either “deeply unsettling” or incredibly amusing while onboard a Royal Caribbean cruise. That’s because when she looked out her window, she got a very clear view of multiple people’s behinds in a clear glass hot tub on an upper deck of another ship, which she identified as the Symphony of the Seas.

TikTok creator Savorgenelle (@savorgenelle) noticed the sight from her room’s balcony on the Wonder of the Seas, another cruise ship in Royal Caribbean’s line. She posted about the clear vantage point in a video with over 260,000 views, adding that Royal Caribbean is the “Symphony of the Seas and Wonder of the Seas. Or Wonder of [expletive].”

A Questionable Cruise Ship Design Choice

Commenters quickly pointed out that the design—a clear hot tub on an upper deck of another cruise line—clearly gave anyone nearby a view of passengers’ behinds from across the way.

When a cruise ship remains at port, anyone within sight might end up getting a view of the hot tub occupants’ backsides.

“So obviously the designers did not think of port days—with that many people still on the ship I’m guessing Nassau,” one viewer added.

A few observers opined that the design flaw was “icky,” and added to cruises being somewhat unappealing.

Commenters also noticed that the hot tub water looked “murky” or “cloudy,” with some viewers even adding disgusted emojis to express their dismay.

“Still no CruiseToks out there persuading me to take a cruise,” shared one viewer, who clearly was not impressed with the pool of the “Sea of a—-” that Savorgenelle beheld.

Which Cruises Are Best For ‘Behinds’?

Many commenters said that cruises in general feel somewhat icky, tacky, and unideal, while others shared contrasting opinions about the vacation destinations.

One commenter said that one line in particular is known for having attractive people on them. “The Bliss cruise is the best. Hottest people ever!”

They were quickly met with some hostility. A commenter added, “I would hope so since it’s for swinging.” Another countered that, “Yeesh, in my experience those are the least attractive people.”

Commenters also did not find the Royal Caribbean’s “see through hot tub” enticing, nor the concept of cruises in general. Some expressed concerns with cleanliness.

There are multiple luxury cruise lines that are well known for having great amenities without icky design flaws, cloudy hot tubs or any other surprise additions: Celebrity Cruises, Viking Cruises, Holland America, Oceania Cruises, and the Disney Cruise Line all have fairly clean ships according to a U.S. News & World report.

It’s unclear how long Savorgenelle got to look at the hot tub from her balcony while aboard the Royal Caribbean while it was at port in Coco bay, but it is clear that it was “ something you can’t unsee,” as she said.

We’ve reached out to Royal Caribbean via press email and Savorgenelle via TikTok direct message for more information. We’ll let you know if they respond.
