バックグランド 2025年6月23日から新しくリリースされたSapphire Reserveに月々10ドルLyftクレジットがついてきます。そしてLyftでの支払いはx5となります。 このクレジットを有効活用できないだろうか？ このクレジットをギフトカードを使って1回のRideを無料にできないだろうか？ と思って実験してみました。その結果の報告です。 LyftクレジットがついてくるChaseクレジットカード 月々10ドルのLyftクレジットがついてくるのは次の2つのクレジットカード Sapphire Reserve Personal Sapphire Reserve Business Lyftアカウントに上記のクレジットカードをPaymentとして登録すると自然と毎月10ドルのクレジットがもらえます。この10ドルのクレジットですが、もらった月に使わないと翌月に持ち越せないので注意が必要。 例、7月に10ドルクレジットをSapphire Reserve Businessでもらった。7月中はLyft使わない場合、8月になった瞬間にこの10ドルは消えます。代わりに8月になると10ドルクレジットがまた使えるようになる。 ということで、毎月10ドルLyftで節約できる感覚です。10ドルなので地域と路上の込み具合によりますが、あまり遠い距離の移動には向きません。 クレジットとギフトカードを併用できるのか？→できない 毎月10ドルのクレジットがもらえるので、それを使いどうにか10ドル以上のRideを無料にしたい。そう考えてAmex Business Goldの毎月もらえるFlexible biz spendの20ドル分をStaplesでLyftのギフトカードを購入して、それとクレジットを一緒に使えばLyftをお得に乗れる！と思って実験してみました。 ところが、10ドルクレジットを使うには支払いがギフトカードを指定すると使えない。Sapphire Reserve Business/Personalを指定しないとできない。 逆にギフトカードを使うというのを選ぶと10ドルクレジットが使えない。 非常に残念です。ちなみにクレジットとギフトカードを併用できるのはUberです。なので、今回の実験で便利という意味でもUberギフトカードを買った方がいいなーと感じました（Uber Eatsにも使えるし） まとめ 結論はLyftクレジットとギフトカードは併用できない！です。 なので今後はギフトカード購入するならUber一択かなーというのが感想。Lyftは近いRideで10ドルオフになったらラッキー＆節約！という感覚で使おうと思います。
