Review: Chase Sapphire Lounge – Terminal B – Boston Logan (BOS) – Updated

by Adam Stuart | March 25, 2025 | 1 Comment

…Chase hits it out of the park with its Boston Sapphire Lounge

This lounge defines luxury for a lounge in the United States. It sports a high-end design, pre-plated buffet items, a la carte dining ordered from your seat, 2 bars, showers, a variety of seating as well as views of the tarmac. When: Marc, 25, 2025. Rating: 9.5/10 – Supreme. Access: Priority Pass activated through Chase Sapphire Reserve Card

Happy to report that this amazing lounge has had no drop-off in quality. This lounge is located near where terminal B meets with terminal C at Logan and is most convenient for JetBlue, United, Southwest, Alaska and Spirit passengers. It’s a hike for Air Canada and American passengers. Delta passengers using Terminal A have no direct access.  The entry is near gate B40 – just go up one flight in the elevator to the entrance.

While there is seating behind reception, most people go to the right. Another right turn and you arrive at the extensive and inventive buffet, with an abundance of pre-plated small plates for you to fill up on. At your table, there is a code you can scan and order a la cate food items and drinks that a server will bring directly to you. You can order food or drinks from anywhere in the lounge. Breakfast buffet options included a variety of pastries, frittatas, french toast, smoothies and much more. I chose the made-to-order option, and it did not disappoint: toast with a fried egg, mozzarella, and blueberry jam.

There are two bars: one more beer oriented, the other for cocktails. There are also two coffee and soft drink stations. Beyond the bar is plenty of lounge style seating as well as tables that are great for working or eating. There is even a room designated for families and their chatty children. There are fireplaces and interesting displays throughout.

The opposite side of the lounge (from the bars) are the washrooms and showers. If you want a shower – I advise seeing the shower attendant on entry to put your name on a list of when it gets crowded. And it does: JetBlue runs a hub from Boston and it has no lounges. United has a fine lounge in Boston – but it’s not in this league! Other passengers use Terminal B, so this lounge fills up.

I would be remiss if I did not recognize the amazing service throughout the lounge, from the greeting at reception, the servers, and the staff cleaning – constantly. They are all proactive and friendly. Technically, this is a Priority Pass Lounge – but you need to have Priority Pass through Chase Sapphire to get unlimited visits. Other Priority Pass passengers can only visit any one Chase lounge per year.

I rate this lounge 9.5/10. Best features: The food, drinks, design, and other amenities. Flaws: This lounge can get very crowded!

  1. I visited earlier this month (March) and I agree. This is the very best lounge at Boston Logan, and I enjoyed staying there an extra two hours due to my delayed departure.
