Review: Air France Lounge at Boston Logan Airport (BOS), Terminal E

The Air France Lounge in Boston is vastly improved after a much needed renovation

The summary

Located near where Terminal C adjoins Terminal E, the Air France Lounge recently reopened after a much needed renovation. The previous iteration was dated and dreary and did not reflect well on Air France. After the renovation, the lounge sports a refreshed decor highlighted by deep blues and white, comfortable seating, outlets aplenty, helpful staff, and a decent (if not lavish) buffet. During quiet times, before passengers arrive for Air France flights to Paris, the lounge is open to Priority Pass members.

The entry remains a sore point: Guest need to walk down a very utilitarian hallway to access the lounge. To the left is the reception desk where a friendly agent will check your credentials.

To the immediate left past reception is the entry to the main seating area. The lounge has a mixture of deep blue and white chairs. Posters of Air France destinations line the walls. You will notice outlets throughout the lounge. The only chairs not blue or white are some red chairs around the tables near the buffet. These tables are near the only windows in the lounge.

Near the rear of the lounge is an attractive roped off area reserved for premium passengers, presumably. In the very back are some nice work cubicles and a large private office. Guests are asked to limit use of the office to 90 minutes. In addition, there is a private nap room (which was occupied so I did not enter).

There was a decent buffet. With egg bites, potatoes, a white bean salad, greens, meats, mango mousse, juices, breads, fruits, and spreads. The croissants looked really nice! I would imagine there would be more substantial offerings before the Paris departures in the evening.

Around the corner from the buffet is the small bar, which starts serving at 10 AM. At a glance, there were some decent looking wines and champagne (plus other alcoholic beverages), but I am no connoisseur. I loved the figs in front of the bar (there were apricots and nuts too). To the right of the buffet is the coffee/espresso and tea station.

The restrooms were ok – but I could not take a picture since there were people in there. Internet was password protected but worked very fast. The staff worked hard at keeping the place nice and clean. In the morning, this is a very relaxing place to wait for a flight. This lounge is a decent option for Priority Pass members, based on the hour of the day.

The wrap

the details: Date: November 22, 2025. Rating: Very fine. Access: Priority Pass.

What I like: The bright white chairs, the more private areas in the back of the lounge

What I don’t like: The location – no fault of the lounge!
