Woman Plans Trip to Orlando. Then She Realizes Nowhere Is Big Enough To Host Her Family—Until She Finds This Hidden Gem: ‘Massive Luxury Residences That Can Host … Over 30 Guests’

Planning a trip with a large group can be daunting, particularly if you’re all trying to stay in the same place. One woman says she found the Holy Grail of resorts for a large group. But is it?

Travel with Design Crazes (@design_crazes), a creator that posts “Family-Friendly Luxury Resorts” in the Orlando area, posted a video of the  Evermore Orlando Resort, a massive property just outside of Disney World that offers guests the opportunity to book “5 to 11 bedroom homes.”

The TikTok, which has more than 1.7 million views, received a relatively positive but somewhat mixed response. While very few described an entirely negative experience at the resort, some said it wasn’t worth the price.

Evermore Orlando Resort didn’t respond to an inquiry sent via online contact form.

Design Craze’s Experience

Design Craze’s post was included in a list of Orlando resorts for people with larger parties. The TikToker gave the Evermore Orlando Resort a glowing review, which she posted alongside some videos of the property.

“ Have you ever tried planning a birthday, wedding weekend, or family reunion and realized no one’s house is big enough? Let me show you something better,” she said.

Everything about the post made the resort seem magical: She took videos of the notably large lagoon nestled in the middle of the property. Design Craze claimed that the resort wasn’t a typical vacation rental. It offered its guests something bigger and better.

“ It doesn’t feel like a typical hotel. It feels private, peaceful and designed for something special. This is the kind of place where everyone can stay together without feeling crowded,” she added.

Is This A Review Or Paid Promotion?

When Design Craze initially posted her review, it was not clear whether or not she was affiliated with the property or had a brand partnership.

Design Craze has disclosed that she participates in “Resort Collabs & UGC” in her bio, but that doesn’t necessarily apply to all of her content.

UGC is a creator payment program where brands pay content creators for videos, photos, and content. Brands can technically use this content for their business pages. UGC content creators make $198 per deliverable on average, but notes this can vary based on factors such as size of the creator’s following, add-ons, and other metrics.

In addition, resorts sometimes offer free stays to creators in return for paid promotional content or other brand partnerships. Design Craze has posted over 20 TikToks about Evermore Orlando Resort since April. This could, but doesn’t necessarily, indicate there’s a paid partnership between the creator and the resort. Repeated promotion at volume tends to work better for the TikTok algorithm.

In a comment to BoardingArea, however, the creator said that she posted her reviews of the Evermore Orlando Resort independently, and that her reviews aren’t influenced by paid promotion.

“I have personally stayed at Evermore Orlando Resort multiple times with both family and friends, including larger multi-family group trips. One of the biggest reasons I continue returning is because the property offers a completely different experience compared to booking several traditional hotel rooms,” she continued

Other Reviews Of Evermore Orlando Resort

Evermore Orlando Resort has a 4.3 rating on TripAdvisor, with reviewers noting that the villas were luxurious for groups. “The houses are incredible. Eight bedrooms and your own pool. If you are looking for a group trip I’ve not seen anything as nice at this price,” one person said.

One of the notable caveats is the price, however. Multiple commenters who said they’ve stayed there opined that the hotel is too expensive for average families.

“I want to take my son here so badly for his birthday, but it’s so expensive,” one wrote.

A 2024 article noted that the hotel’s starting rate was $500 at that time. The resort’s site says that a one-day stay can now cost anywhere from roughly $1,000 to $1,250 in the summer months.

“Very expensive for what you get,” one commenter said.

Design Craze acknowledged that the resort is on the expensive side but said that it’s worth it when you factor in how many people it can accommodate.

She told BoardingArea, “For families weighing the price point, I think the value becomes much clearer when the total cost is divided among multiple families or guests. In many cases, the cost per bedroom can become comparable to—or even better than—booking multiple hotel rooms separately, while also giving guests access to premium amenities like the lagoon, cabanas, water activities, dining options, and spacious accommodations designed for gathering together.”
